Independent bookstores in various Northwest cities host StringTown readings. Anywhere from five to twenty past and present contributors come together to read their work.

An evening with Steve Cleveland, Portland poet and musician, reading from his latest collection of poetry, The Gold That Falls Onto The Table will be held at Rain or Shine Coffee House (5941 SE Division St, Portland, OR 97206), November 6th from 7-9pm. This free event hosted by the Oregon Writers Colony will also include a reading from local author, Edmund Sandoval, followed by a reception and signing.
